The release date for when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 will come out is creeping ever closer, and fans can get early access to the CoD MW2 campaign and story mode via pre-order bonus.
CoD MW2 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, but, like before, there is exclusive content for PlayStation players. This PlayStation exclusive content is the Oni Operator Pack which includes a unique weapon blueprint as well as the Oni operator for use in MW2 multiplayer as well as Warzone 2.
While the above is neat for Sony loyalists, the good news is that everyone will be able to enjoy early access for the campaign story mode.

When does Modern Warfare 2 2022 come out?
The release date for when Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 will come out is October 28th, meanwhile early access for the CoD MW2 campaign story mode launches on October 20th.
All of the above dates come courtesy of Activision’s digital pre-order campaign overview. Of course, when the EA comes out, you will not be able to enjoy any online multiplayer until the full release.
How to get Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campaign early access
All you need to get early access to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 campaign is pre-order a digital copy of either the cross-gen or Vault edition.
Simply pre-ordering any version of the game will allow you to experience the story mode a week prior to the launch of multiplayer. A launch trailer has been released, and many have praised its gorgeous visuals by gushing that it makes CoD MW2 look like a high-budget playable movie.
Per Activision, the story mode takes players all across the globe to complete missions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. It features underwater combat, high-stakes stealth missions, and all-out explosive assaults.
It looks absolutely incredible, and we cannot wait to play in no more than two weeks.
