Multiverse has announced that open-galaxy space RPG Earth From Another Sun is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2023, with a PC version arriving via Steam in Q2 2022. Not only that, but there will a playable demo available for PC gamers on October 1, 2021.
Earth From Another Sun takes place in a dynamic and ever-evolving galaxy, where players will find themselves hunting for resources across star systems with the aim of establishing a huge trending empire or using brute force to conquer planets in an extensive military campaign.
Multiverse’s Community Manager and Game Designer, Anthony Fernandez, commented:
Earth From Another Sun will be the most in-depth and exciting open-world simulation available when it comes to PC via Early Access in 2022 and consoles in 2023. Our team is working tirelessly to create an entire galaxy to explore, conquer, and control. Whether you want to rule the stars with an iron fist or made millions robbing pirate dens blind, Earth From Another Sun will allow your wildest desires to come true!

Your campaign will see you leading up to 1,000 units in combat, comprised of soldiers, mechs, and other units as they engage in massive battles. If you prefer to assert your galactic dominance by using numbers, then you can also buy low and sell high to establish your trading empire, investing your profit into major hauls and embark on treasure hunts across the galaxy to hoover up valuable loot.
There’s also plans for a multiplayer mode when the game launches for PC in Early Access, which will offers co-op dungeons and a 60-player Galactic Dominion Conquest mode. Presumably this will be coming to consoles too, but there’s no word on that yet in the press blurb.
