After leaking last month, Warner Bros. Games has finally announced Multiversus, an upcoming free-to-play fighting game that’s launching in 2022 and includes a wide roster of characters from the company’s various franchises.
Multiversus is developed by Player First Games and set to release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, while also supporting cross-play and answering the age-old question: Who would win in a fight between Shaggy and Arya Stark? OK, maybe it’s not an “age-old” question, but it’s getting answered anyway.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn all make an appearance from DC Super Heroes and DC Super-Villains, alongside Bugs Bunny, Arya Stark, Shaggy (Scooby-Doo), Tom and Jerry, Jake and Finn from Adventure Time, Steven and Garnet from Steven Universe, and more. Each hero comes packed with unique combat mechanics, and customisable move sets that allow you dynamically combine moves with your teammate to scoop that victory. This will all be done on various levels, including Batman’s Batcave, Finn and Jake’s Tree Fort, and more.
No release date has been revealed yet, only that Multiversus will be releasing in 2022.
