More than 30 new games are released on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week. But are any of them worth playing?
Let’s start with Freecell Solitaire Collection? Probably not.
What about Donuts ‘n’ Justice? Also, not likely.
Pyre on Fire? Erm, no.
And puzzle game Find 10 Differences? Give me a break.
Stonefly looks much more promising. Flight School Studio, makers of Creature in the Well, return with a chilled action-adventure game in which you harness the wind to guide a mech across a range of visually stunning environments. Stonefly looks compelling from a gameplay perspective, but it’s the prospect of a heartwarming story that makes the game our pick of the week.
Retro platformer Astalon: Tears of the Earth also looks fun, and DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power serves up a suitably colourful action game based on the hit animated TV series.
Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Chroma Quaternion, Sunblaze, and Skellboy: Refractured. Here’s the full lineup for the week ahead. We’ll update this post if we get news of any late additions.
