Developer Housemarque just released a brand new PS5 story trailer for its upcoming title Returnal, giving new details about the game.
So far, only the gameplay footage was available for primary input about the video game. But the latest story trailer of Returnal, for PlayStation 5, provides new information.
It will arrive soon in the next one month for the PS5 console.

Speaking of the story trailer then it unveils the actual narrative of the upcoming Housemarque game.
“Our story follows Selene, a Greek-American ASTRA deep-space scout who is a complex and layered character that is driven to a fault, intelligent, and resourceful,” reads the new PlayStation blog post.
For the first time in her career, Selene goes against the orders to go on an alien planet, Atropos. In Returnal, she tries to follow the “White Shadow” broadcast signal.
However, she crashes lands into a forest and finds ruins of “an alien civilization filled with statues, gates, xeno-tech, and alien corpses.”
But she’s not the only one in this forest. There are various hostile creatures as well as other dangerous situations.
Jane Perry has voiced the protagonist of Selene. The actress is known for lending her voice to Diana Burnwood in the Hitman games.
The character’s facial capture and overall appearance are of Anne Beyer’s.
The most important thing to note is that Returnal might only have Selene as a human character. It means the players will get to explore the game with her only and no one else!
New video games coming in 2021
Meanwhile, there are not just a handful of titles arriving in the next few months. This year’s slate is packed heavily with multiple potential blockbusters.
Some of the most-awaited heavyweights to watch out for will be Resident Evil Village, Halo Infinite, and Far Cry 6.
A new COD installment, Horizon Forbidden West, Deathloop, STALKER 2, and Monster Hunter Rise are also highly anticipated.
That’s not everything, however.
The line-up extends even further with Humankind, Balan Wonderworld, Gotham Knights, and Bravely Default 2. Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Back 4 Blood, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Psychonauts 2 are other crucial launches.
Several recently announced projects to make their debut later this year are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories.
Coming back to Returnal, again, it’s set to be released on April 30th for PlayStation 5.
