New Switch Games Releasing This Week (September 26th

A busy week on the eShop sees The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero, Tunic, Paw Patrol, and many more new games releasing

It’s another busy week on the Nintendo eShop as the calendar refreshes and the store gets its weekly update of new games. What’s new this week on Nintendo Switch? Plenty, and there are some real gems to be had.

Tunic finally moves away from its PC and Xbox exclusivity, bringing a very Nintendo-like charm with it. Tunic is an isometric action-adventure game heavily inspired by Nintendo’s own Zelda series, so it’s a natural fit for the hybrid console.

While FIFA players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC will be booting up FIFA 23 with a pang of trepidation this year – it’s the final FIFA from EA before the license is handed elsewhere – Nintendo players will likely not be all that bothered; FIFA 23 is yet another “Legacy Edition” for the console. This means it will play just like last year’s release but with the updated rosters, kits, and stadiums. To be fair, this year’s Legacy Edition is also coming with the inclusion of women’s leagues, which is a nice touch. Hopefully, the next steward of the FIFA brand gives Nintendo players a little more to be excited about.
