NFL injury report: Live fantasy football injury news, impacts for Week 1

The National Football League season starts in earnest today, as we get 14 games to soak in to our eyeballs and craniums. We already watched as the Bills dismantled the Super Bowl champions on Thursday night and are ready for more! For fantasy football, injuries will be a major reason for concern and opportunity. Staying on top of them will be our task in this live, updated post.

Coming into the day, we had a significant list of injury concerns. Below, you can see the most significant fantasy football actives and inactives and once the games get going, we’ll keep you updated on all the significant fantasy injuries.

Injury updates

Wan’Dale Robinson

Keenan Allen

Allen is officially OUT for the rest of the game.

Allen appeared to injure his hamstring before halftime. Josh Palmer would gain work if Allen can’t return.

Alvin Kamara update

Kamara says he is “good.”

Mac Jones

Jones played the whole game in a loss to the Dolphins, but did suffer an injury.

Alvin Kamara

Kamara wasn’t on the field at the end of the game, but there have been no injury reports as of yet.

Jameis Winston

Update: Winston returned to the game and threw a touchdown to Michael Thomas to make it 26-18 Falcons.

Tee Higgins

Higgins has been ruled out.

Elijah Mitchell

Mitchell was quickly declared out. Jeff Wilson should be next up according to the depth chart.

Tee Higgins

Higgins is now being evaluated for a concussion per the broadcast.
