A new update for Fortnite increases the game’s resolution on the Nintendo Switch in both handheld and docked modes.
The Nintendo Switch edition of Fortnite has been enhanced.
Epic Games released an upgrade on March 30 that increases the resolution of the game on the console. The increase in resolution provides gamers with images that are less blurry without any loss in performance and a more consistent framerate. The update applies to both handheld and docked modes on the Switch.
Before the update, the resolutions were 1000×560 on handheld and 1390×780 while docked. The new update increased handled mode to 1170×660 and docked to 1560×880. The update also saves Switch owners 140MB of storage space.
