The rumor suggests that The SoC for the Nintendo Switch 2 is true, but there’s no indication of a 2023 release.
Even though Nintendo has routinely denied the existence of a more powerful Nintendo Switch model, there hasn’t been enough people to believe that there exists.
At one point it must be a Switch two, and a new piece of information fans have latched onto concerns the announcement of the new consoles on a chip (SoC).
An e-component is basically the chip that contains all the required components to get a system working. The switch, for example, uses a Tegra X1.
To date, Nintendo was supposed to use a customised Tegra 239 (or T239) model for a future console, regardless of whether it be a new Switch or a new successor.
When that chip hadn’t existed, it did. If no one knows this, it’s not. Nevertheless, a Linux employee recently confirmed it was existence via the company’s mailing list.
Followmeinblue spotted this and shared it with Reddit. It seems that there aren’t any mentions of the Nintendo or the Switch, but it seems to further confirm the claim made by Nvidia leaker kopite7kimi from over a year ago.

There were also information about the T239 in a Nvidia leak from earlier this year, which found that it was interesting to see how a Switch 2 could offer ray detection support.
It seems safe to assume that whatever the next console is, it is going to be more powerful than the current hardware and allow for more graphically demanding games.
In the past two or three years, it has emerged that rumors have come about, and there have been no other events for the past few decades, yet. The majority of this was based on the mythical Switch Pro, but not an entirely new console.
Nintendo insists the Switch is halfway through its lifecycle. Since the eos in 2017, that implies no plans for a new console until 2027. But while it’s official, it looks very unlikely.
Nintendo’s original assertion that it’s a Switch successor is that it’ll at least be backwards compatible. They’ve admitted that one is in the design phase.
The company is not trying to do anything but push for new hardware to be released now. The switch is still selling extremely well, and it’s expected to become the third-best selling console of all time.
