After winning the NBA MVP award last season, Nuggets center Nikola Jokic — the virtual one, at least — is getting a bump in his overall rating.
2K Games on Wednesday tweeted that Jokic will have a 95 overall rating in the upcoming NBA 2K22 game.

He is among the top-rated players in the game. Of the ratings that have been announced so far, he is behind Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Nets forward Kevin Durant, who all have 96 overall scores. The rating for Lakers forward LeBron James, who was tied with Antetokounmpo for the highest rating in last year’s game at 97, has not been released.
For Jokic, it’s a climb from his initial 90 overall scores from the 2K20 and 2K21 editions of the game. And a substantial improvement from his rookie season when he was rated just 68.
NBA 2K22 is slated for a Sept. 10 release date for the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
