NVIDIA has more gaming benchmarks for the RTX 4080 GPU

NVIDIA has shared three new benchmarks for a upcoming RTX 4080 12GB and RTX 4080 16GB graphics card. The green team shared the performance of these two GPUs in Flight Simulator, F1 22 and A Plague Tale: Requiem.

According to NVIDIA, the RTX 4080 12GB will be slower than the RTX 3090Ti in these games at native 4K. With DLSS 3, that graphics card can even surpass the RTX 3090Ti if it’s using DLSS 2.

Now I need to say that NVIDIAs RTX 4090 native 4K results are nowhere near what we received in A Plague Tale: Requiem. NVIDIA claims the RTX 4090 provides an average of 106bps. However, our RTX 4090 only pushed 70 ppm at 4K/Ultra on our benchmarks (in the benchmark scene that NVIDIA recommended using). I don’t know what scene NVIDIA tested, but the RTX 4090 isn’t very close to 100fps in native 4K/Ultra.

NVIDIA also outlined the games graph for the use of Ray Tracing. We didn’t have any options for Ray Tracing in our review. I can’t imagine how heavy this game will be with RT effects.

And the number 1st of 22 matches our native 4K. Microsoft Flight Simulator is, however, near the moment we were getting high energetic results (high-altitude scenarios are less CPU-bound).

NVIDIA is officially going to unveil a RTX 4090 later today. In November, green players will also release the RTX 4080 12 GB and the RTX 4080 16 GB.
