It may be a cross-gen title coming to both PS5 and PS4, but Sony is clearly banking on God of War Ragnarok selling some current-gen hardware. A new bundle has just been announced, which packs the upcoming, highly anticipated adventure in with a standard PS5. The bundle will launch on the same day as the game — that’s the 9th November – and will be added to our Ragnarok pre-order guide as soon as retail links appear.
We kind of miss the days when Sony would ship unique console designs with its blockbusters, but it’s worth remembering that the PS5’s plastic covers can be replaced. We wouldn’t bet against special God of War covers being made available down the line.
