Warner Bros. Games announced Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, a new collection RPG for mobile devices, that will launch globally in 2023. Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, created and co-published by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, will include the first mobile-only cinematic story experience for the franchise. Players will assemble a team of fighters from a large cast and then unleash them in massive real-time group battles to halt a dark and perilous threat from wreaking havoc across the realms.

Since the introduction of Mortal Kombat Mobile, which has more than 150 million installs and is one of the top five most downloaded fighting games on iOS and Android, this game will be the most recent instalment in the Mortal Kombat franchise for mobile devices.
With their 30th anniversary this month, Mortal Kombat is also commemorating a significant milestone, demonstrating the lasting popularity and critical praise of this renowned franchise.
Ed Boon, Chief Creative Officer, NetherRealm Studios said that they are pushing the boundaries of Mortal Kombat to allow players to experience the franchise in new ways, while still staying true to its core visceral nature.
