OpTic Gaming gets 550k$ HCS Orlando Major

OpTic Gaming continued its dominance spree this weekend at the Florida major. As of the 23rd and 25th of September, the best American players descended on Orlando, Florida for a prize pool of $350,000. As soon as dust settled, OpTic Gaming had effortlessly won the top prize.

The performance was worthy of a $140k first prize, with OpTic almost refusing to drop a map in the Group Stage. If it wasn’t enough, the team pushed on the top of the competition, beating Oxygen, eUnited, FaZe Clan and Cloud 9 back to back, leaving just two maps to drop. This marks the first major victory in the competition for OpTics, as the team has been performing well so far.

At the start of the tournament, forty-eight teams were jumping up on the floor. This tournament structure allows amateur organizations to thrive in a unique environment with limited competition potential. They have almost identical to the Halo Championship Series, and give these low-class organisations a chance not to compete against names like Natus Vincere, OpTic Gaming, Sentinels, and FaZe Clan.

The HCS Orlando Major, however, didn’t any of these lower-tier organisations do it out of the open market. When Pool Play began the event, only the team that remained in the competition were made up of the world’s largest players, and OpTic pushed up that pile of players quickly. While each team that topped their respective group achieved four 0 records, like OpTic, the team didn’t really have to beat the competition in the Championship Bracket.

Though, going 250 0 against the Chiefs in the Pool Play match was definitely something to write home about.

In the final bracket, OpTic Gaming beat Oxygen 3 0, eUnited 3 -1, FaZe Clan 3 0, and finally, Cloud 9 4 1). It was a remarkable performance, with the history book being praised; its ability made it easy for OpTic Gaming to secure an place at the Halo World Championship in 2022.

Second, The Championship, followed by the championship.

If you are a Fan of Halo betting, the next on the cards is by far the most important event of the year. The Halo World Championship 2022 tournament takes place between 20th and 23rd of October. When it comes to building a team that boasts the largest Halo team in the business, there are three hundred people who will be attending the tournament. OpTic Gaming wants to highly perform at this event, perhaps as far as it wants to win the $400k grand prize.

As we progress toward the $1 million tournament, all the players are working hard to prepare. No more meetings are happening in the HCS calendar between now and now, so it’s time to knuckle down and practice this is the first time that the first global championship is held since 2018 at the HCS. The event will make it an interesting moment to whoever team finishes at the end of the weekend.
