OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK Game Trailer Shows Off More Side-Scrolling Action

 

Pre-orders have officially gone live in Japan for OVERLORD: ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK, the upcoming 2D side-scrolling action game based on Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord series, and with that news comes a brand new gameplay trailer.

The Nintendo Switch and PC game is due out digitally on June 16, and it will be available at a 10 percent discount from the time of pre-order until June 22. Dive into the latest footage while we wait for it to arrive below.

 

 

ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK features an original story centered on Clementine by light novel author Kugane Maruyama.

 

 

The third season of the Overlord TV anime premiered in July 2018 and ran until October 2018, with the fourth scheduled for July 2022. Crunchyroll is currently streaming every season, describing the show as such:

 

When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game’s new overlord.
