As Overwatch 2 players continue to struggle with game server connections, Blizzard announced that a fix for Error LC-208 is currently in testing. The error code is among one of Blizzard’s currently tracked issues for Overwatch 2, and the fix will be applied in a future update. A release date for the update was not revealed by Blizzard. Unfortunately, the current situation means players may keep receiving the Error LC-208 issue on consoles until the update is finally applied. As a result, the recent bug report post by Blizzard continues to receive comments by frustrated players that are unable to play online matches in the competitive PvP shooter.

Alongside Error LC-208, Blizzard is investigating crashing issues happening throughout Overwatch 2. Blizzard will keep working on solving these issues by releasing multiple updates for Overwatch 2. Players may have to wait until these updates are released before being able to connect to game servers and have a stable Overwatch 2 experience.

Although Blizzard is committed to resolving Overwatch 2’s bugs and issues, the situation is a source of frustration for players who were originally excited about the game. The transition from the original Overwatch game to Overwatch 2 was not seamless, and many bugs have surfaced. The current state of Overwatch 2 leads players to believe Blizzard was not prepared for launch.

Blizzard may fix its public image surrounding Overwatch 2 by releasing a wide range of fixes, but it appears the issues affecting the game are extensive and may take a considerable amount of time to remedy. The bugs are breaking the core experience of Overwatch 2, so players want fixes immediately before the player base dwindles.

Overwatch 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
