The ATLUS consumer survey has published its results during the dedicated livestream this week, with remakes of Persona 3 and Persona 2 being the top two fan-requested titles. Given the huge popularity of the Persona franchise, this probably won’t come as much of a surprise.
In fat, both Persona 2 and Persona 3 remakes took 78.9% each, beating out Revelations: Persona with 76.3% and Persona 4 (which includes Persona 4 base and Persona 4 Golden) with 74.8%. Here’s the full results —

- 1. Persona 2: Innocent Sin / Persona 2: Eternal Punishment – 78.9%
- 3. Revelations: Persona – 76.3%
- 4. Persona 4 (Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden) – 74.8%
- 5. Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha series – 72.1%
- 6. Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers – 69.5%
- 7. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse – 66.7%
- 8. Shin Megami Tensei IV – 65.3%
- 9. Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga series – 62.4%
- 10. Etrian Odyssey series – 58%

Whether or not Atlus will take any notice of this survey and actually go ahead with remakes of those games is anyone’s guess. However, for now we have Persona 5 Royal for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to look forward too.
Unfortunately, Atlus has revealed that there is no upgrade path for the game if you already own Persona 5 Royal on PS4. You’ll have to pay for it on PS5 if you want the game for that system.
