Sony announced that another PlayStation exclusive, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, will be coming to the PC. Over the last few years, PlayStation has been testing the market of the PC market and releasing some of its key first-party games on the platform. It started with Horizon: Zero Dawn, a well-respected game on the PS4. Then it continued with heavy hitters like God of War and most recently, Spider-Man. It isn’t even slowing down, as Sony recently revealed a trailer for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Moralesand has confirmed that The Last of Us Part I will also come to PC.
Sony announced, perhaps by mistake, that Sackboy: A Big Adventure will come into PC on October 27 2022. The trailer was posted by the PlayStation latex account (via Wario64 on Twitter), but none of the other PlayStation channels. The trailer looks a little early, but still we have a gameplay and a particular details. This game will run in 4k/120 frames and includes things like variable refresh rate. Of course, Sackboy is an important PlayStation mascot and it’s been since the PS3. This is the first time that he has gotten his own game out of the coreLittle Big Planet series that has been shown with praise for his imagination since its creation. Sackboy: A Big Adventure was released as a launch game for PlayStation 5 and was one of the most popular games for the console at the time.
It’s exciting to know that fans won’t need to wait long for this game and hopefully it’ll also be on Steam deck. The game is confirmed for Steam, and Epic Game Store and PlayStation is working to get its PC ports on Steam deck. Only time will tell what happens, but in the next few weeks we’ll find out more about it.
