PlayStation Plus free games for July 2022 confirmed – Thumbsticks

Sony has announced the free PS4 and PS5 games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in July 2022.

First up is the cooperative multiplayer game Arcadegeddon from Illfonic, creators of Predator: Hunting Grounds and Friday the 13th: The Game. It’s another neon-infused looter shooter based on a mix of PVE and PVP gameplay.

Next up is Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, the well-liked action-platforming sequel from Toys for Bob and Activision.

July’s PS Plus lineup is rounded out by The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan. It’s a slick and spooky game that we described as a “piece of absorbing, spectacle horror” in our review.

PlayStation Plus subscribers at all levels can claim all three games from July 5, 2022.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won’t, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it’s hard to do that in the current financial climate. If you’d like to help us fund these aims, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
