Today marks the release of A Plague Tale: Requiem across multiple platforms. Like the original rat-filled game A Plague Tale: Innocence, this is another cloud release on the Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, it’s not just some sort of rental or free download, either. If you want to play it on Nintendo’s hybrid system you’ll need to fork out a full one-time payment of $59.99 USD or your regional equivalent. In terms of the installation, you will have to install the app, which takes up around 59MB of space.
These obviously aren’t the first cloud games to be released on Nintendo Switch. Square Enix released the entire Kingdom Hearts series via the Cloud on Switch, and other games like Control have also made their way across to the system this way.
