The PS Plus September 2022 monthly games remain a mystery, with a lack of leaks and credible rumors keeping fans guessing. Join me as I roll off PSLS’ PS Plus September 2022 Monthly Games Predictions, before updating this post with the big official reveals.
NOTE: This article is updated on an ongoing basis to include all substantial rumors, leaks, and news related to the PS Plus September 2022 games.
PS Plus September 2022 Monthly Games Predictions
The Last of Us Part 2
With The Last of Us Part 2 being removed from PlayStation Now as part of the January 2022 lineup refresh, there has been a significant hole in the streaming service’s catalog for many months. While its return would be cool, it’d be better to see the game headline the PS Plus September 2022 selection.
The Last of Us Part 1 releases on September 2, so having TLOU Part 2 made available on September 6 would no doubt entice newcomers to grab the pair. The timing is almost too perfect!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)
As hype builds for the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, September would be a great month to include the first game in the rebooted series. As a fan, it’d be nice to see the player count given a boost before everyone inevitably moves over to the sequel, and newbies could play through the story mode to get caught up on the plot before MW2 launches.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Mass Effect Legendary Edition has recently been featured in several free game promotions on other platforms, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see it also making an appearance in the PS Plus September 2022 lineup.
Of course, Mass Effect: Andromeda is another title that hasn’t been featured yet, so there’s always a chance that subscribers could get that instead…
As always, this post will be updated with any new leaks and, eventually, the officially confirmed lineup direct from Sony.
In other PlayStation news, here are all of the Gamescom 2022 opening night live PS5 and PS4 announcements. Hideo Kojima has announced a podcast called “Brain Structure” that will be posted to Spotify. The Fortnite x Destiny event is now live, bringing Javelin-4 and Guardian skins to the battle royale juggernaut.
