PS4: 10.1 system firmware available, here are the official notes

Sony PlayStation released the firmware 10.1 for the PlayStation 4 today. This is a tiny update with intent to improve the performance of the console operating system, so don’t get tired of waiting for great news.

As reported in the official notes issued by Sony, it takes more time than just improving the software’s performance. That’s a routine update that Sony publishes the console periodically. If you want to continue using the consoles for online multiplayer, you can take advantage of these platforms.

PS4 Pro and Slim are also going to be a touch touch.

It doesn’t seem impossible a priori that the update does not hide any other news that Sony does not mention, which only we will know with certainty after the regular scrutiny by the dataminer or the users. To be fair, there will be very interesting news for PS4 in the future, since the console has nearly nine years of honorable career behind it, and Sony is focusing on PS5.

According to Tom Hendersons sources, Sony is planning on opening an exclusive PS5 model with a removable player.
