PS4 Update 10.00, Creating issues with DLC, Here’s a report

Several players reported the update of 10 DLC on social media, but there are a few things that can’t be solved. Although the problem is small among players overall, sites like Reddit were inundated with threads from concerned players who reported their games DLCs were wiped out after updating the console. And it appears to me that those who use external storage drives are the ones affected.

Support for PS4 update 10 DLC issue.

As said by the Reddit user SegaJAM, players don’t need to reinstall the content (orry if you’ve already gone through that). Rather than temporarily block your console from using your extended storage, you will need to re-scan your external drive. Simple! Follow the above steps.

  • Hold the button in place while using the dashboard.
  • Go toSound/Devicesand selectStop Using Extended Storage.
  • After you confirm, you’ll receive a message saying that your external drive can be safely removed, but not in the right direction.
  • Now your P4 restarts.
  • Let the PS4 reboot and scan your external drive. Eventually your DLC will work again.

There have been reports that the firmware was upgraded. We were told that the XV/33898-1 and XV/36867-3 were wrong. The latter has an issue with internet connectivity, and the latter is related to a corrupted update file. Sony has offered the correct remedy.

  • If you are upgrading yourPlayStation4 console via the internet, go toSettings>Systems>s update and try and get involved with this.
  • If you are updating via USB, you should try upgrading your computer via the internet. Go toSettings and Gtt.Systems and Gtt.Projects and Gtt.Updates via Internet.
  • If there’s no way that the latest update is downloaded by a web browser. You have to install the folder with a USB backup device, and the correct folder structure.
  • If you’re still having issues updating the software, please try with the safe mode.

In other news, the upcoming Supervision 2 heroes need to be unlocked via Battle Pass and a sonic plot-based Battlefield game is in development.
