PS5 Devkit Deep Dive Features All the Ports, Angles, and a Bottom Panel

While it’s not easy to get a PS5 devkit unless you’re a Sony-approved developer/studio, it seems one person managed to get their hands on one, and has decided to do a full breakdown.

YouTuber Macho Nacho has uploaded a video of a PS5 devkit being prodded, pressed and ogled at. We see every port the PS5 devkit features, as well as the entire shape of the thing and more. There’s even a bottom panel tucked away that’s opened too.

Check out the gallery to take a look at all the ports in this devkit, as well as what it looks like in every angle.

As for what’s inside the secret panel at the bottom of the console? Take a look:

Yep, a whole lot of nothing! It’s basically an SSD expansion slot for the devkit.

You can watch the entire video below to see Macho Nacho’s complete breakdown alongside commentary.

Will Sony do anything about this? Probably not, and as one might expect, the YouTuber doesn’t share how he managed to get a PS5 devkit. Even so, it’s still a nice thing to see for those interested in how games are made, and what kind of unit game makers use in the studio (alongside PCs and regular PS5s of course).
