PS5, RTX 3060, RTX 3070, and more now on Newegg Shuffle for a limited time

*Update: After the event began, Newegg added the PS5 to the Shuffle, so you still have about 25 minutes to win a chance to buy the hard to find console.*

Newegg’s Shuffle event for April 6, 2021, from 2pm to 4pm EST, was all about hard to find graphics cards, including the RTX 3060, RTX 3070, RX 6700 XT, RX 6900 XT, and RTX 3090, but at the last minute, Newegg added the PS5 to the Shuffle as well.

First, for the standard edition PS5 bundle, you get an extra DualSense controller, The Nioh Collection, Spiderman Miles Morales, and Demon’s Souls, as well as one of two options: A PlayStation HD Camera for $839, or The Last Of Us II (PS4) for $805.

The RTX 3060 is back in the mix with three cards on offer. First, there’s the EVGA RTX 3060 for $389, then there’s the Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 3060 bundled with a Gigabyte 650W power supply for $518, and finally the Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3060. This latter card comes in two bundles, one with a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite ATX AMD motherboard for $634 and one bundled with a Gigabyte 650W power supply for $538.

Next up, we have four RTX 3070 cards as well. First, there’s the Asus Dual RTX 3070 for $689, followed by the EVGA RTX 3070, which comes by itself for $699, or bundled with an EVGA 750W power supply for $819.

Next, there’s the Gigabyte Vision OC RTX 3070, which comes with four bundle options: it comes with a Gigabyte 750W power supply for $879, a Gigabyte Aorus Elite WiFi ATX AMD motherboard for $974, a Gigabyte Z490 Vision ATX Intel motherboard for $994, and a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC ATX AMD motherboard for $974.

Finally, there’s the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3070, which also comes with four bundle options. One with a Gigabyte Z490 Vision G ATX Intel motherboard for $1,014, another with a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi ATX AMD motherboard for $994, another with a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC ATX AMD motherboard, also for $994, and lastly, one with a Gigabyte 750W power supply for $899.

There are three Radeon RX 6700 XT cards available as well: a Gigabyte Gaming OC RX 6700 XT bundled with a Gigabyte 750W power supply for $869; a Gigabyte Aorus RX 6700 XT bundled with a Gigabyte 750W power supply for $919; and an Asus Tuf Gaming RX 6700 XT on its own for $799 or bundled with an Asus Strix B550-E Gaming ATX AMD motherboard for $1,044.

Next up, we have the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT for $1,419, and finally, the Zotac RTX 3090 for $2,159.

All in all, there’s something for everyone in this Shuffle, but we’ll have to wait and see if the RTX 3080 and either of the RX 6800 cards show up in the next Shuffle event.

How to throw your hat in the ring during Newegg Shuffle drawings

The way Newegg Shuffle works is you sign up for a Newegg account and during the event window, you select the items you want and simply click the button marked “Enter the Shuffle.”

When the event window closes, in about an hour, winning accounts will be drawn from the list for each item and the winners notified at the email associated with the account.

About 90 minutes after notifications go out, winners will have a roughly four-and-a-half-hour window to follow the link in the email to a secure checkout on Newegg and complete their purchase. If the winners do not complete their purchase in the allotted time, they lose their chance to purchase their item and have to wait until it comes up again in another shuffle and try again.

It definitely isn’t a perfect system, but it’s better than the wild west shoot-out with bots, profiteers, and Ethereum miners that existed before.
