PS5 stock – live: Currys, BT and EE restocks available now, Game could drop next

That’s the end of another day and, since the UK has two bank holidays to celebrate the platinum jubilee, this also brings another week of PS5 hunting to a close.

Very and EE have now both sold out, but as of 17:30 on 1 June, PS5 stock is still available at the BT Shop, as well as Currys and Hughes.

We’ll be back again next week to bring you all of the very latest news on PS5 stock in the UK and US, as soon as we have it.

Game developer CD Projekt Red this week announced its next game in the Witch series has gone into pre-production. Called Witcher 4, the game will use the Unreal Engine 5 rather than REDengine, which was used in previous Witcher games, as well as Cyberpunk 2027.

Writing in a company blog post, CD Projekt Red president Adam Kiciński said: “We are very eager to revisit the universe which has shaped our history to such an extent”. The developer last spoke about the game in March, when it announced that work on a new Witcher game had begun.

If you’re just about to buy a PS5, then you might also be in the market for a new television to show off the next-generation game console. Just like Game, we’ve spotted a handful of PS5 disc edition bundles with Horizon Forbidden West, this time in several branches of Smyths Toys in Northern Ireland. Here’s a quick list of the stock levels:

• Bangor: Nine in stock
• Forestside: Three in stock
• Newry: Nine in stock
• Boucher: Two in stock
• Newtownabbey: Five in stock
• Ballymena: Seven in stock
• Derry/Londonderry: Nine in stock

We’ve just spotted that a couple of branches of Game have PS5 consoles in stock and available for walk-in customers. The Game branch in Sports Direct at Scunthorpe has a PS5 disc edition bundled with Horizon Forbidden West for £559.98, while Game in Loughborough has the rarest of things, a PS5 disc edition, also bundled with Horizon Forbidden West.

Studio is another retailer to have PS5 stock available today. The website has a virtual queuing system in place to manage traffic, but we’ve found it only takes a couple of minutes to get to the front and be granted access to the store.

The retailer has just one PS5 bundle on offer today. It is priced at £619 and includes the PS5 disc edition, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 and an additional black Dualsense controller.

Good news! We’ve just spotted that PS5 consoles are back in stock at Very. Just like everyone else this week, Very’s stock comprises exclusively of a PS5 disc edition bundle with Horizon Forbidden West, and it is priced at £499.99.

Next up we have Currys and, as with everyone else this week, the PS5 is only available as part of a bundle. In this case, the bundles are fairly expensive but at least come with a couple of games and accessories alongside the PS5 disc edition. As you may have realised by now, the cheaper PS5 digital edition is nowhere to be seen.

The most affordable Currys bundle available today is £649 and includes the PS5 disc edition, Horizon Forbidden West, Lego Star Wars, an additional white Dualsense controller and a Razer gaming headset.

Next up is a bundle priced at £669. This includes the console and Horizon Forbidden West (as ever bundle seem to these days), plus Gran Turismo 7, an additional white Dualsense controller and a Razer gaming headset.

Lastly, Currys has a £709 bundle that combines the previous two. This means you get the console, headset and additional controller, plus Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 and Lego Star Wars.
