PlayStation 5 customers have had a tough time getting hold of the console since launch, especially in April.
After regular PS5 restocks in 2021, stock has been depleted in April, primarily due to shipping delays that have left retailers without anything to sell.
Fortunately, however, the lack of stock shouldn’t be an issue for too much longer, as new dates are revealed for the next wave of PS5 restocks.
According to the PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates Twitter, the May delivery dates have moved forward, so finally some good news for customers.
“PS5 UK Stock arrived a few days earlier than expected,” the account tweets. “GAME and Argos will release PS5 bundles between 4-12th May now. Amazon expected 10-17th.”
Based on previous PS5 restock reports, the PlayStation shipment is a week ahead of schedule.

Despite the longer wait for stock to become available in stores, the good news is that the stock drops should be rather large.
This is because the delayed April stock should be available at the same time as the May drop.
When the big restock does take place, fans will have a couple of big new games to try.
This includes upcoming PS5 exclusive Returnal, which is described as a roguelike bullet-hell shooter.
“After crash-landing on a shape-shifting alien planet, Selene finds herself fighting tooth and nail for survival. Again and again she’s defeated, forced to restart her journey every time she dies.
“In this roguelike shooter, both the planet and your equipment change with every cycle, forcing you to adapt your play style and take on evolving challenges.”
If developer Housemarque’s previous games are anything to go by, then fans are in for a treat.
This will be followed by the release of survival horror sequel Resident Evil Village on May 7.
The new Resident Evil game moves the action to an Eastern European village plagued by monsters.
“Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares.
“Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again.”
