PS5 UK Stock alerts – Refresh buttons at the ready for HUGE Smyths and Amazon stock drops | Gaming | Entertainment

UPDATE: More PS5 UK stock checker accounts are tipping multiple PlayStation 5 restocks for the week ahead.

According to PS5 UK Stock – Instant Alerts, Amazon is expected to restock the device on either June 1 or June 2.

The restocks will continue at AO on June 2 or June 3, followed by Smyths on June 3 or June 4.

“This week’s PS5 stock forecast for the UK,” reads a PS5 UK Stock – Instant Alerts tweet. “Amazon: 1st-2nd (8-9am). AO: 2nd-3rd. Smyths: 3rd-4th (8-9am).

“Other posibilites: ShopTo, EE, Studio (disc), Scan (digital).”

The ever-reliable stock checker account believes GAME, Argos and John Lewis should have stock next week.

ORIGINAL: PlayStation 5 consoles will be available to purchase from Smyths and Amazon this week.

UK customers looking to pick up a PS5 console will have multiple opportunities to buy a console between now and the end of the week.

The first of two major PS5 stock drops will reportedly take place at Amazon, where the PS5 could be back in stock as early as Wednesday, June 2.

That’s according to PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates, which suggests logging in between 8-10am BST.

While Amazon is reportedly more likely to restock the device next week, Smyths is almost certain to drop stock by Friday.

“Smyths PS5 stock planned for 3-5th June (8-11am),” reads a PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates tweet.

“Amazon PS5 restock planned 2-9th June 8-10am, likely 7-9th but can occur any time between dates.”

Of course, as we saw towards the tail-end of May, smaller stock drops could also take place throughout the week, which is why Express Online will keep this post updated with the latest developments.

After a slow month in April, PS5 stock drops happened far more frequently in the month of May.

GAME had multiple stock drops, as did the likes of Amazon, Argos, Currys, ShopTo and Smyths.

The increased availability has has a positive knock-on effect in the second-hand market, where PlayStation 5 consoles have started to fall in price.

With second-hand prices starting to fall, scalpers are much less likely to buy up all of the stock when it goes on sale.

A quick glance at eBay shows that average prices have fallen to around £550-£600, while CEX will now only pay £480 to purchase consoles from customers.

Not only have prices started to fall, but the PS5 is now home to one or two appealing exclusives.

Returnal made its debut in April, while Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will launch on June 11.

“Ratchet and Clank are back! Help them stop a robotic emperor intent on conquering cross-dimensional worlds, with their own universe next in the firing line.

“Witness the evolution of the dream team as they’re joined by Rivet – a Lombax resistance fighter from another dimension.”

The game makes excellent use of the PS5 DualSense controller, featuring full haptic support, as well as adaptive triggers.
