PS5 will reportedly be in stock at Argos in-store and online this Wednesday

PlayStation 5 consoles will reportedly be available to buy from Argos UK’s website and its stores on October 27.

The retailer is said to have received a new batch of PS5 Standard Edition consoles, which have been distributed to stores ahead of going on sale to the public this Wednesday at 8am.

That’s according to PS5 Stock UK, which has proven to be a reliable source of updates on console restocks during the Covid-19 pandemic.

It’s unclear if the PS5 Digital Edition console will also be on sale, but the products can be found through the following links when available:

UK retailer Game has also updated its PS5 bundles page with plans to deliver a fresh batch of consoles in early November, indicating a possible online restock between October 28-29.

PS5 cleared one million sales in the UK in August, making it Sony’s fastest-selling console ever in the region. According to data from GfK, the console reached the milestone three weeks faster than PS4.

Sony also claimed in July that PS5 had become its fastest selling console ever worldwide after topping 10 million sales globally.

“While PS5 has reached more households faster than any of our previous consoles, we still have a lot of work ahead of us as demand for PS5 continues to outstrip supply,” Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan said at the time.
