With everything, Sony showed that the PSVR 2 got no backward appropriate with authentic PSVR video games. In an interview with the Professional PlayStation podcast, the Senior Vice President of Platform Revel in Hideaki Nishino spoke to the Inside Track.
Sony says the PSVR 2 received not give a boost to PSVR 1 because of the hardware barriers.
Sony has avoided the question about the PSVR 2 support for backward compatibility to authentic PSVR video games because it introduced the headset. Thankfully, we managed to solve the problem with Episode 439 of the Professional PlayStation Podcast (intervalled between 29:10 and 89 o’clock).
Q: Since I’ve done that right here, I got questions from some friends and players about the possibility that they can play videogames in VR with VR. So what say you?
Nishino: PSVR videos aren’t needed with PSVR2, hence its design and appearance that will take a real first generation VR experience.
Nishino never made the announcements, but that seems to be a common problem in terms of PSVR 2 backward compatibility.
- Hardware problems are worsened.
- Instrument problems
The ‘hardware’ itself may differ from the unique PSVR a lack of solution to ensure backward compatibility. We noticed Sony have similar weaknesses with the PS4 and PS5 but with the PS3 missing backward compatibility.
Sony even regarded the time and effort it needed to do for some authentic PSVR video games to be painted with PSVR and determined it was not worth it. Sony has to allocate sources to replace first-party video games, and, in addition, persuade third-party builders to act with the same intelligence as possible. As an alternative of expensive shoppers with titles that are old and new, the corporate may see a blank smash as the most productive plan of action.
Different information allows for more choices. The remake of Resident Evil 4 comes to py4 and Deathloop is getting free content.
