The physical release of the 2021s action platformer Psychonauts 2 is out. Presented by the iam8bit and Skybound Games project, the Psychonauts 2 and The Motherlobe Edition, will take on the physical release from the studio and the consoles that are joined by developers Double Fine and Xbox Game Studios. Psychonauts 2: The Motherlobe Edition is priced at $69.99, and it is available on PS4, Xbox One and X/S.
In addition to the game itself, Psychonauts 2: The Motherlobe Edition comes with an alternative cover sheet with six hand-held cards that show off concept and final art that eventually made it into the game. There are also six die-cut stickers and a digital download code for unreleased behind-the-scenes material.
The launch of a new atomic bomber was announced in December of this year.
Psychonauts 2 is now a huge success, both critical and commercial. Our own review of the game, which you can see here, gave it nine out of 10 on a 9 out of 10. The game proved popular enough to become the best-selling game of Double Fine, according to the art director Lisette Titre-Montgomery.
