The Suspect
Sundance Now and AMC+ have released the trailer for the five-part British thriller series “The Suspect” starring Aidan Turner which hits U.S. shores on November 3rd.
Turner plays a clinical psychologist who becomes a minor celebrity stopping a jumper. When the body of a woman brutally stabbed is found and the psychologist is brought in to consult on the case, he becomes a suspect when it’s revealed she was a former patient of his.
The series launched in the UK in August and was Channel 4’s biggest drama launch of the year.
The Devil Wears Prada 2
Anne Hathaway has shot down any talk of a potential “The Devil Wears Prada” sequel. The actress, speaking with ET Online during the red carpet premiere of “Armageddon Time,” says straight up that a sequel is not currently in the works and they’re probably won’t be one:
“There’s not going to be a sequel. It’s not gonna happen. It’s just like, we can’t do it. It’s not gonna happen. It exists. There are other films. There will be other films. We can just watch that one [The Devil Wears Prada] again.”
PlayStation 5
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a January 26th 2023 launch date and $199 USD Price for the PS5’s DualSense Edge customisable controller. Replaceable stick modules will be released on the same date priced at $19.99 USD. Pre-orders begin October 25th.
Disenchanted
Disney has moved up the release of the long-awaited “Disenchanted” movie, a follow-up to “Enchanted”. Originally slated for a Thanksgiving debut on the Disney+ service, it will now bow on November 18th. Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Maya Rudolph and Gabriella Baldacchino co-star.
