The Xbox Game Pass was one of the big headlines at E3 2021 thanks to all the confirmed day one launches, and this included a console release date for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Just so you know, Microsoft will soon announce their fresh batch of Games with Gold for next month. This means you only have until June 30th to enjoy the artistic platforming of The King’s Bird and the brutal comic book fighting of Injustice Gods Among Us.
Everyone has their fingers crossed for a stellar Games with Gold next month, but – even if it disappoints – there’s still plenty to anticipate for console and PC.

When is the release date for Microsoft Flight Simulator?
The release date for when Microsoft Flight Simulator will join Xbox Game Pass is July 27th. It will only be available on Series X and S meaning you will not be able to enjoy it on last-gen.
It has been available on PC since August last year, and fans have been blown away by its incredible recreation of the world. Even if you’ve never wanted to be a pilot in your life or have a fear of flying, the game is a must as it allows you to visit so many iconic landmarks without needing to get off your backside.
As if exploring the entire globe wasn’t good enough, it also comes with highly accurate features such as real-time weather, wind speed and direction, and lightning from the god of thunder. It also comes with over 37,000 airports, two million cities, 1.5 billion buildings, and so much more.
