Release date, time & Standard edition bonuses

The release date and time countdown for when the F1 22 video game will come out is nearly over and there’s a bunch of pre-order bonuses for the Standard edition.

Reviews for the game are out and are fairly positive. It currently sits at an 82 on Metacritic and most outlets seem to agree that it’s a lot of fun even though it suffers from some ugly microtransactions.

If you haven’t purchased the uber expensive Champions edition, the good news is that you will be able to join the race track tomorrow.

What time does F1 22 come out?

The release date and time countdown for when the F1 22 video game will come out is 23:00 PT on June 30th, as well as 02:00 ET and 07:00 BST on July 1st.

All of the above hours are for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and EA’s Origin. These launch times come courtesy of the game’s official Twitter account.

If you’re not sure about buying the game, you can enjoy a free 10-hour trial on EA Play. If you are on PC, you can get the whole game for free if you are subscribed to EA Play Pro.

Standard edition pre-order bonuses

The F1 22 video game Standard edition pre-order bonuses are as follows:

• 5,000 PitCoin
• Life Starter Pack
• New Era Content

It costs £59.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, but £69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While the three days early access is no longer relevant, you can still buy the Champions edition for £79.99 to get the following (price via PSN store):

• F1 22 on PS4 and PS5/Xbox One and Series X/S
• New My Team Icons
• Two Drivable Safety Cars, available only in Time Trial Mode: Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Safety Car and Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car
• 18,000 PitCoin
• Life Starter Pack: Make your space your own with items such as furniture including wall art, and a player t-shirt
• New Era Content: Car livery, Suit, Helmet, Cap, T-shirt (for F1® Life) inspired by the stunning Official Formula 1® 2022 New Era car
