After this year’s ‘WRC Generations‘ entry, the WRC baton is being passed onto racing experts Codemasters, at least for the foreseeable future. We don’t know too much about next year’s rally game just yet, which will be Codies first in the series, but a new report hints at what we might be able to expect.
Over at Insider Gaming, well-known leaker Tom Henderson is reporting that ‘WRC 23‘ will include a notable new feature that basically lets you build a rally car from scratch. An in-game currently system is said to facilitate the feature, which lets you buy everything right from the drivetrain itself to visual customizations at the end of the build.
The same sources told the site that 16 different car classes are present in the game currently, including “the likes of the WRC and WRC2 to the F2 Kitcar and H1 FWD”. We should hear some official info on ‘WRC 23’ in the months after Generations launches.
That title is KT Racing’s final WRC game, launching in just a few short weeks on October 13th for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
