Resident Evil Re:Verse is yet another attempt from Capcom to induce multiplayer into its popular horror franchise. Billed as a celebration of all things Resident Evil, the Re:Verse open beta release date is April 8 and ends on April 11. The Resident Evil Re:Verse open beta start and end time is 2am EDT (11:30am IST). Pre-loads begin from 8pm EDT on April 5 (5:30am IST on April 6). The Resident Evil Re:Verse open beta download size is 6.86GB on Steam for PC.
Bundled free with the upcoming Resident Evil Village, Re:Verse has players pitted against each other in a six-person deathmatch. Collecting virus samples present on the map increases damage and determine what kind of monster you transform into when you get killed in-game. Naturally, if you’re able to collect enough of them, you can become the series’ iconic Tyrant.
You will need a Capcom ID and access to any of the supported hardware of course, namely a PC with Steam, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, or PS4. Playing the open beta on a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S will run the PS4 or Xbox One versions respectively Capcom says.
If you participated in the Resident Evil Re:Verse closed beta, you don’t need to download the open beta again.
