Resident Evil Showcase set to follow Silent Hill event this week

Capcom is looking to add a sprinkling of evil into the spooky season, with the company’s next Resident Evil showcase stepping out of the shadows this week with some more Resident Evil 4 remake information and more.

If you’ve been waiting patiently for some additional information about the Resident Evil 4 remake, especially after the recent news that it’ll launch on PS4 but not Xbox One, then you might want to free up your calendar for the next Resident Evil Showcase. Capcom announced on Twitter that the show will be streamed live on the Resident Evil Twitch channel on Thursday, October 20th at 3pm PDT/6pm EDT/11pm BST/12am UTC.

Capcom’s Resident Evil Showcase drops this week

Details are fairly slim about what we can expect to see on Thursday, but it would be safe to assume that gameplay for the Resident Evil 4 remake will be shown, hopefully for a bit longer than the last showcase. The tweet also mentions the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, which will most likely contain all of the game’s DLC released to date, including the recently released Winters’ Expansion.

In case you missed it, the Resident Evil Showcase will be dropping the day after Konami’s Silent Hill digital event, which will be available on Wednesday, October 19th. It’s promising the “latest updates” from the series, so we have our fingers crossed for some news on the “several” new games that are apparently in development.
