IGN has revealed the first Resident Evil Village PS4 Pro gameplay, showing how the game looks on last-generation systems.
At 5 minutes long, the gameplay shows us some new areas of the game and also doesn’t look too different from what we played on PS5 in the Maiden demo. But, keep in mind that this is PS4 Pro gameplay, not PS4 gameplay. CD Projekt Red did the exact same thing with Cyberpunk 2077 (withholding PS4 gameplay) and that turned out to be because the game ran horribly on Sony’s base last-generation console.
So, while this gameplay gives us some hopes that the PS4 Pro version will run smoothly, you should hold off pre-ordering on PS4 until we see some gameplay or reviews come out.

The game will get another showcase in April, along with details about the second demo. On PS5, the game will make use of the Activities feature for your main story progress.
Resident Evil Village releases for PS5 and PS4 on May 7, 2021.
