Italian retailer Media World has apparently leaked the Battlefield 2042 Beta release date ahead of an official reveal by publisher Electronic Arts.
According to the listing, the Battlefield 2024 Beta will kick off on September 6, 2021. The full promo text reads as follows: “Pre-order this product by September 3 and you will receive access to the early beta of the game from September 6 to September 11.”
To be fair, this does tie in with EA’s previous comments which confirmed that the Beta would take place in September. To gain early access, you simply need to preorder Battlefield 2042 (any edition will suffice) or be an existing EA Play member. For now, we’ll have to wait for EA to announce an official date for the Beta, but it can’t be far off.

Battlefield 2042 is the next instalment in the venerable first-person shooter franchise, and is scheduled for release on October 22, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
The game eschews a traditional single-player campaign in favour of massive multiplayer battles, with next-generation version of the game allowing for 128 players. The biggest addition is Battlefield Portal, allowing players to create unique scenarios with assets from previous titles in the series.
