Rumor – Treyarch’s Call Of Duty 2024 To Feature Two-Year Lifecycle

Call of Duty 2024, which is reportedly in development at Treyarch, will feature two years worth of post-launch support, according to renowned Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope on Twitter.

Traditionally Call of Duty games receive about one year’s worth of post-launch support until the next entry in the series rolls around, but things could apparently change with Call of Duty 2024.

“Treyarch have had their budgets approved for a 2 year lifecycle on their next installment as part of Activision | Blizzard’s 3 year budget cycle.” Apparently, Activision is “hedging their bets” on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 performing strongly, paired with the infrastructure of COD 2.0.
