Call of Duty 2024, which is reportedly in development at Treyarch, will feature two years worth of post-launch support, according to renowned Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope on Twitter.
Traditionally Call of Duty games receive about one year’s worth of post-launch support until the next entry in the series rolls around, but things could apparently change with Call of Duty 2024.
“Treyarch have had their budgets approved for a 2 year lifecycle on their next installment as part of Activision | Blizzard’s 3 year budget cycle.” Apparently, Activision is “hedging their bets” on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 performing strongly, paired with the infrastructure of COD 2.0.

As recently reported on PSU, Sledgehammer Games is reportedly working on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare 2 as its next project, which is rumored to be out in 2025. However, leaker Charlie Intel played own these reports, suggesting the game is not actually in the pipeline.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for release on October 28, 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
