Rumour: Metroid Prime Switch Remaster Is “Wrapped Up” According To Industry Insider

Industry insider Emily Rogers has claimed that Nintendo’s rumoured remaster of the original Metroid Prime has finished development.

Rumours of a remastered trilogy have been circulating for a while now, but Rogers claims that while the original plan was to re-release all three games in the Prime series, it looks like, for the time being, we might just be getting the first one – and it’s all “wrapped up” as of this summer:

Rogers’ report was previously backed up by VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, another person who is privy to industry rumours and reports.

He claimed last month that while the assumption from the original rumours was that the entire trilogy was getting remastered, he now believes that Rogers is correct and only the first game is coming. “Emily Rogers mentioned this, and I went back to look into it, and I think she’s right,” he said at the time.

VGC reports that it has heard the same report from its own sources.
