Bandai Namco’s RPG Scarlet Nexus has now been added to Xbox Game Pass for PC and console, along with Marvel’s Avengers. The announcement for the former was made during Xbox’s Tokyo Games Show segment, with the game joining Game Pass a mere three months after its launch. Marvel’s Avengers was announced to be joining the service earlier this week.
Both games will be playable under Xbox Game Pass for both PC and console along with being available under Xbox Cloud Gaming in supported countries.
Scarlet Nexus took cues from the personality in JRPGs like the “Tales of” and “Persona” franchises and mixed them well with combat similar to that in Devil May Cry. IGN’s Mitchell Saltzman scored the game 8/10 in his review at its launch.
Meanwhile, Marvel’s Avengers is a wholly different case, with a stumbled launch and a year of catching up to bring most of its initial player base back to the game. All of its post-launch expansions, including the recently released Black Panther starrer War for Wakanda, are free for all owners of the game, including those who will play it with Xbox Game Pass. With that said, the game’s upcoming expansion with Spider-Man will still be exclusive to PlayStation owners, although there hasn’t been any confirmation of whether it will be a timed exclusive.
Scarlet Nexus and Marvel’s Avengers are out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass.
