Scorn developer Ebb Software has revealed eight full minutes of Scorn gameplay ahead of the title’s Xbox Game Pass launch next month. This one freaks us out every time we see it to be honest, but we’re still going to give the game a go when it releases on October 21st!
This new gameplay sequence goes through the very start of the game, as you approach Scorn’s first “grotesque” puzzle. The team certainly got the description right anyway, as you wheel around a strange, deformed creature in some sort of weird chair thing to solve said puzzle. Here’s how the developer describes the full experience:
Scorn is an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. It is designed around the idea of “being thrown into the world”. Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. The unsettling environment is a character itself.
