SCORN is the first PC game with DirectStorage

As it has been for the first time since the launch of SCORN, it is the first game to use directStorage on PC, as confirmed by Ebb Software on Twitter. The game is able to answer a direct question at the time of launch.

How’s it going to work for this game? Will this be for Xbox or will it also be supported on PC? The developers replied, DirectStorage will be supported both.

DirectStorage is a software that essentially slows the loading of games both at a startup and for sessions.

Basically DirectStorage bypasses the CPU by making NVMe SSDs communicate with the GPU and the VRAM. The CPU uses this way to rework, reducing the cost. The framerate and loading time are increased, so as to allow for more complex and more complex resources.
