Only a month before Sonic Frontiers was released, the requirements of the game for players who want to play on PC have become known. This game promises to be a big, ambitious change from the mainline titles, as the Sonic series will feature a semi-open world. The fans could learn how the game was played in various games from various industry events. Some of them are Tokyo Game Show, EGX London and even PAX AUS. The queues for them were filled with cheers for them, and the impressions came out in the future.
All these demos were shown on every platform the game will be released on, including Switch, next-gen consoles and PCs. With Sonic Frontiers coming out on all these platforms, some gamers question what system they can play and how their systems will handle the game. The official specs of the game are released to test whether your PC is working properly.
These requirements can be seen on the Sonic Frontiers Steam page, which lists the minimum and the recommended specs to get the most out of the game. According to this page, this game will require at least an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor and at least 8GB of RAM. The Recommended specs are an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor and 12GB of RAM. PC players will also expect a 30GB file size on their systems.
The minimum game resolution will be 720p at 30FPS on the lowest level, while the recommended setting is 1080p at 60FPS on the lowest. The required operating system is Windows 10 64-bit. As it goes with its console competitors, the PS5 will have 4K resolution at 30 Fps, and a 1080p game will run at 60 Fps. The PS4 version will be only limited to 1080p and 30FPS, and the Switch version is also available for 720p and 30FPS.
Much before the game begins, Sega and Sonic team showed some gameplay video, trailers and demos that impressed them. There are also many new DLCs that are appearing to longtime fans – as evidenced by a cosmetic item named Sonic Frontiers that speaks of one of the franchise’s most beloved games.
Sonic Frontiers – Standard for PC – must meet the systems requirements.
The download of the latest version will be completed.
