Alright, so we know we’re a few weeks early here, but we’re already excited by what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2022! Six games have been confirmed for next month so far, including some really big day one additions.
We’ve been waiting for some of these games for ages, like the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence and the first-person horror adventure game Scorn, along with the highly anticipated Xbox debut of Persona 5 Royal!
There will be many other additions to Xbox Game Pass in October 2022 over the coming weeks, but for now, here’s a quick at-a-glance look at what’s been announced for the service next month:
Coral Island is a vibrant and laid-back reimagining of farm sim games. Be who you want and experience enchanting island living at your own pace—live off the land, nurture animals, build relationships with a diverse cast of townsfolk, and make the world around you a more vital and harmonious place.
Embark on Hugo and Amicia’s next journey and venture south of 14th century France, before setting sail to a mysterious island out in the Mediterranean Sea. Brave a terrible fate and find a cure for Hugo’s illness thanks to Amicia’s new resources—including the use of alchemy to manipulate fire and the long-distance power of a crossbow, but also her cunning use of terrain and ability to wrestle out of an enemy’s grasp.
Don the mask of Joker and join the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Break free from the chains of modern society and stage grand heists to infiltrate the minds of the corrupt and make them change their ways! Persona®5 Royal is packed with new characters, story depth, new locations to explore, & a new grappling hook mechanic for access to new areas.
Scorn (October 21st)
Explore a mesmerizing labyrinth this Halloween! Scorn will release on 21st October 2021. You awaken in the middle of a desolate and decayed hellscape; a once industrious civilization now lay in ruin. Surrounded by nightmarish, biomechanical contraptions, you must explore your environment to progress. Your nightmare is about to begin…
Gunfire Reborn’ is a booming blend of ability-based hero shooter and roguelite, all rendered in a striking cel-shaded aesthetic. It’s fun to look ahead, but don’t forget that September 2022’s Xbox Game Pass additions are definitely not finished yet either! Microsoft is likely to reveal another big batch of games for this month at some point over the next two weeks.
