Sonic Frontiers Main Theme Revealed, And It Sounds Extremely Noughties

SEGA has revealed I’m Here, the main theme for Sonic Frontiers, and it goes pretty hard.

In classic Sonic style, there’s elements of pop punk and alternative metal here, with shades of bands such as Evanescence, Linkin Park, and You Me at Six in there, at least to my musically challenged ears. The point being, it sounds exceptionally like it was pulled straight from the 2000s, and Sonic fans seem pretty happy with it.

I’m Here was composed and arranged by long-time Sonic composer Tomoya Ohtani, with vocals by Merry Kirk-Holmes from To Octavia.

It follows the reveal of the Sonic Frontiers ending theme just two days ago, with the song Vandalize performed by Japanese band ONE OK ROCK.

You can check out the music video for I’m Here down below. Sonic Frontiers is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 8th November 2022.
