Star Wars Battlefront 3 may not launch

Battlefront 3 was “turned down by EA” because it was a licenced product, according to Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson. Furthermore, several key developers from Battlefront II have since departed the studio, including Dennis Brännvall, making a sequel exceedingly doubtful. The good news is that, according to Henderson, “two Star Wars titles are in production under EA,” which are most likely single-player storey games.

It should be noted that this has not been confirmed by EA or DICE, and we have reached out to EA for comment. Still, it seems possible that Star Wars fans will get to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 long before Battlefront 3. We’ve no idea why the galaxy hates the idea of Star Wars Battlefront getting to a third game but at least there are more Star Wars games to come, it seems.
