There’s been a Steam app for some time, but it’s pretty average. I’ve only ever used it as a 2FA when logging into my account. Although it looks like Valve hopes that’ll all change now with the new Steam app update that adds and updates nearly everything about the app.
Having used the app previously as mostly a 2FA device, doing that now via QR code sign-in will make the whole process a lot easier, but there’s a feature here I can see people using more than that one. You’ll now be able to download and even uninstall games on your PC or laptop via the new Steam app. A very handy feature that both the Xbox and PlayStation apps have access to and makes downloading a freshly released game ahead of getting home from a day at work super-handy.
