The RPG originally launched in June of last year based exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, has been downloaded by Steam. This game is called Triangle Strategy, which is a tactical RPG released earlier this spring. Nonetheless, the development of Triangle Strategy is already relatively popular on Switch. With that coming, it will soon turn to PC.
Square Enix announced it with the Nintendo Directpresentation this week. The idea was that Triangle Strategy would come to PC on October 13th in the same month as the Nintendo Directpresentation. This is the first platform outside of Switch which Triangle Strategy has come to, making its launch on PC very important. Currently, pre-ordersfor Triangle Strategy on Steam have gone live with the game being available for 10% off its normal price in this pre-purchasing phase. This limited edition of that game also comes with this 20% discount.

It doesn’t all the same way as the way Triangle Strategy is coming on Steam, given that Square Enix handled some of its earlier versions. In 2018, Square released the RPG Octopath Traveler on Nintendo Switch for release in 2019, before bringing the game to Steam in 2019. In that example, Square later ported Octopath Traveler to Xbox in 2021. While it is still to be seen if Triangle Strategy goes to Xbox (or other platforms), history tells us that this could really be possible.

“Triangle Strategy take place on the Norzelia continent, where players will determine the fate of three powerful kingdoms in conflict, Glenbrook, Aesfrost, and Hyzante. To start with the victory of the Montenegro war three years ago, the protagonist is with his faithful companions, childhood friend Prince Roland, fiancee Princess Frederica Aesfrost and the steward of House Wolffort Benedict. He’s trying to navigate the new conflict while they are trying to enter the new war.
